Dinner at Boathouse, intimate and quaint French restaurant at Fullerton Water Boat House. The 3 course dinner cost $55++ per pax which is a steal for a fine dining restaurant, thanks to Restaurant Week.

Outfit for the romantic dinner date from Individual Expression. Love the sequin detail at the bodice of the dress!

There are 2 seatings during Restaurant week, we went for the 2nd seating. We were slightly early, so a staff lead us to the rooftop bar, Prelude, for pre-dinner drinks

When the first batch of diners left, staff were quick to inform us that we could enter the restaurant. We were seated promptly but a very shagged looking waiter, but nevertheless, still provided excellent service.

All 3 courses were fantastic but their breads was nothing to shout about.

Cassoulet of squid, with natural jus, roasted, fricassee of sprouting roots, essence of forest mushroom. Squid was fresh and crunchy, sooo yummy.

Porcini fine smoothie: Wild mushroom with classic leek.

Petuna Ocean Trout : Pan fried, potato confit served with Buerre Blanc sauce.

Roasted challon duck breast with carrot puree, wilted spinach & orange jus

Classic cafe tiramisu with coffee soil. Strong coffee flavour with a crunch. Seasonal Trio which was a selection of sorbet and ice cream. There was nutella ice cream, passion fruit sorbet and raspberry sorbet. I am a big fan of chocolate stuff so requested the raspberry sorbet to another nutella ice cream. So glad I did that as the nutella ice cream is heavenly.
