The food was delectable and the service was good at first, but it got busier later in the evening and there was 2 occasions whereby we had trouble getting the staffs’ attention.
It was Dear’s birthday, I donned an Allure frock for this special occasionThe cozy restaurant only has seating for 52 diners; reservation is recommended.
We ordered the set menu, but swapped some of the dishes. The restaurant is very flexible, you can swap with any of the dishes that belonged to the same category on the menu. The breads were fantastic; there was about 6 different choices. The restaurant served the bread with a citrus flavored olive oil (wheuk!), which we didn’t like and hence requested for the usual olive oil.
Amuse broucheSan Daniele cured ham, melon and rucola salad, marinated ham bruschetta
Changed the appetizer from the foie gras to the Pancetta wrapped scallops, organic green salad, cauliflower puree
Foie gras: Coffee spiced goose liver, bitter cocoa scented apple puree, fine herbs salad, sambuca sauce
The next course was a milk and fennel soup, crispy pork belly, and pomegranate. The serving is tiny; it was gone in a few mouthfuls 🙁
Risotto cooked entirely in capon consommé, fresh tyme, caramelized shallot. The chefs cooks it al dente, but you can request to be harder or softer then al dente
Adriatic style cod in brodetto sauce and seasonal vegetables.
Wagyu beef tenderloin, creamed celeriac, backed radicchio, porcini jus.
Black olives and bread crusted lamb loin, soft potatoes, warm basil, scented capsicum salad.
Seared green apple, caramel soil, cinnamon ice cream
