Treated my family to buffet dinner at Triple Three, Mandarin Orchard Hotel. I managed to take pictures of 95% of the spread (I forgot to take pictures of the Tempura Section), scroll down to see the variety of food.
The price per pax is $138++(both for weekdays and weekends), which adds up to $161.46 after service charge and GST. The food is nice, but I don’t think it is worth paying full price; I use a groupon promotion which saved me about 40-50%.
If you are keen to try this buffet, do keep an eye out for credit card promotions. Sometimes DBS has 1 for 1 promotions or 50% discount for every 2nd diner.
Because of the groupon promotion, the restaurant was packed. I expected slow service but was pleasantly surprised and impressed that the hotel put in the effort to schedule enough manpower to clear the plates quickly. Thumbs up for that 🙂
In my opinion, Melt at Mandarin Oriental is still the Singapore’s best buffet in terms of variety, while Basilico at The Regent is the best for quality (but lack variety). I prefer The Greenhouse at Ritz Carlton (would do a post about it soon) compared to Triple Three, as the latter’s desserts were abysmal. Click on the links above to view my reviews. Chilli Crab with Fried Bun
Chicken Soup with herbs
Teppanyaki Bean sprouts, beef flank and squid kushiage
The desserts were terrible.
