Germany Travelogue 1

The coach drove eastwards from Amsterdam to Germany

Here is a tip to make the money you spend using the toilet worthwhile at rest-stops. It cost 0.70 Euros per person to use the toilet, how it works is that you put coins into the machine, it prints out a ticket and lets you in. DO NOT LOSE THE TICKET  because it’s worth 0.50 Euros credit; you can buy anything in the convenience store or cafe and offset the cost with these tickets.

We stopped for photosArrived at a town for the Rhine Cruise.

A barge transporting coal…

We had to walk a bit to get to the cruise shipCute puppy!

The cruise ship has a café on the first deck while the upper deck is an opened space, perfect for enjoying the sceneryWe had pork schnitzel which was quite yucky yet expensive 🙁 Luckily we had better schnitzels at other places later on…The sun was blazing, I had to rest indoors for awhileOne can enjoy the scenery indoors as well, but of course being on the second deck is better. A picture I took while I was indoors on the first deck:Stay tuned for my next blog post which would feature picturesque villages and medieval castles we admire during the rest of the Rhine Cruise.
