Bought The More the Marry-ier minis during my honeymoon in Europe last September. Gotta say that I am not impressed with these wedding nudes.
I have a fondness for anything that’s miniature…because they are just sooo cute. Each bottle contains 3.75ml of product.
The only polish I like from this collection is Princesses Rule!
It’s a beautiful subtle, pale baby pink shimmer. The micro shimmer is very fine, making the polish look sophisticated. I reach out for this when I don’t want to use a high maintenance color. Princesses Rule! makes my manicure look clean and polished. I used 2 coats for these pictures.
Sweet Heart, a nude shade with a hint of pink, was a pain to use. No matter how I tired, the polish streaked on me. I am wearing 2 coats here, painted by a manicurist, who obviously has better painting skills than me, haha! Perhaps this polish would be easier to work with from the full size bottle, with the prowide brush. I simple do not have patience for this; won’t be using this again. Very disappointed with the quality of Sweet Heart because I usually rely on OPI for good quality nail lacquer.
Alpine snow is stark, crisp white color which reminds me of liquid paper. The formula is extremely streaky and difficult to work with and it chipped after just 1 day (see index finger). I will not recommend it for the whole nail, as the finished look is uneven. Great for French tips, if you like stark white French manicures.
I did receive a compliment from a patient who saw my nails from afar; she mentioned that she was looking for a very white nail lacquer. I shared with her that I don’t fancy Alpine snow because it was too streaky and showed her my nails up close. She agreed that the uneven finish was noticeable.
