China Glaze It’s a Trapeze Review

I was looking for chock full of glitter polishes from Indie brands because none of what OPI has interests me. But because shipping was wayyyy too expensive, I didn’t get any in the end. A few weeks later, China Glaze launched It’s a trapeze which was exactly what I was searching for, at half the price. Yeah!

It’s a trapeze is part of the Cirque du Soleil Worlds Away collection launched in December last year.

The fun polish reminds me of a birthday cake. It has a milky base, which looks a tad grayish in dim lighting. There are tons of mulch-colored glitter in the polish and its opaque in 2 coats.

Try not to overload the brush, and keep a stick (I use a metal file with a pointed tip) handy to clean up glitter spillage from the sides of the nail. Also, do nudge back any glitter that hangs out from the nail bed or tip, to prevent premature chipping.

The polish chips after 3-4 days; I just apply more polish to the tips and add a top coat. This mani lasted about a week.

There are 2 downsides to this polish 1) removal is a pain and 2) it’s impossible to control the amount of glitter on the brush, sometimes resulting in uneven glitter distribution.

See, the index and middle fingersnails on my left hand has more glitter than the ones on my right hand.
