One particularly memorable christmas gift I received was a small christmas tree from my parents when I was young. The fun of decorating the tree and the sight of presents under the tree on christmas morning made for an enjoyable christmas!

A $50 zara voucher that wasn’t much, but the giver who usually does not give gifts took the time to get my favorite brand, letting me choose it at the same time which showed how much the giver knew me.

Best Christmas gift I had ever given was an Iphone 4 to my mum two years ago. She was simply ecstatic to receive such a highly advanced technological gadget that her eyes would light up each time she utilized the gadget. It was a joy to see my mum being so delighted at the idea of being a proud owner of a Iphone. Although it was certainly not cheap for a student but it was definitely worth every cent. 🙂

Hmm, the most heartwarming Christmas gift I’ve had…it would have to be my last year as a uni student, I have got this friend whom we would soon say goodbye to as she was a scholar sponsored by her home country. She and I did not quite hit it off at the beginning of our course, but we grew to become really good friends, especially during the final year. On that very last Christmas we had together, she handed me a gift box. Inside it was a handmade photo album, full of pictures we took together throughout the years and there were messages and drawings here and there, she must’ve spent a lot of time working on it. I was utterly touched by this little gift and up to this day, everytime I take it out and flip through the pages, it still puts a smile on my face.

Hi there! My most heart warming gift every Christmas is the promise of a yearly bbq session with my two best friends. Although it’s not an object, but it’s the commitment to see through this promise yearly that makes me really feel the warmth and love of this joyous season. No matter how packed or busy our schedule is, we will make sure that a day is fixed during the Christmas season for this gathering. (:

Hi there! My boyfriend and I started off as a long-distance-relationship (LDR) couple and hence were not able to be there physically for each other often. For the first Christmas which we celebrated together two years ago, I handmade an advent calendar and mailed it to him one month before Christmas. The advent calendar was a cozy house on a giant greeting card with 24 windows and a door, adorned with ornaments and Christmas wreath, and cotton wool as ‘snow’ on the rooftop. Beginning on the first day of December, one door was opened each day, revealing a message, be it my well-wishes for him, a perk-me-up or lines and drawings that captured the good moments we shared. So with that, he counted down the days remaining until Christmas, the day which we finally met again! That was the most heart-warming Christmas gift that I have ever given-the gift of love that transcends distance.

Hello Hello! Well, I must say that the most heartwarming Christmas gift I’ve had the opportunity to receive was from my best friend. After sharing with them earlier that year that I would be moving to live in another country, my best friends had gotten all my other friends to write well-wishing notes and send pictures of themselves (and of us together) – she had then compiled all the hand written notes and images, together with many other picture of us in groups at parties and outings in one big photo album title ‘We will always be near you, no matter how far I travelled’. It was such a nice personal touch and I can still remember the moment I saw the album. It truly is a one of a kind unique gift that I will treasure in years to come. =))

Hi Madame Chewy! The most unique Christmas Gift I’ve received is an ice cream cake. I was in Secondary School that time, and was pretty broke, so a paddle pop was already a treat for me. Knowing that I’ve never tried an ice cream cake before, and always listen with envy when I hear people talking about having one for celebration, my two lovely friends saved up and bought one whole ice cream cake for me and my family for Christmas. They even hand delivered it to my house! To save up enough money to buy an ice cream cake is no mean feat for two secondary school students, so for that, I had a very blessed and heartwarming Christmas. 🙂
