Korean Travelogue: Yongin Everland

We spent an afternoon at Yong-In Everland Park, which is the worldโ€™s seventh-largest outdoor amusement park. The park is divided into 5 parts: Global Fair, American Adventure, Magic Land, European Adventure and Zootopia

Because it was a weekend, it was very crowded and queues for rides were about an hour long, so we only queued for 1 ride. Hubby wanted to try this but because I was such a scardy cat, he gave it a miss.

Instead of walking to Zootopia and European Adventure, our tour guide told us to take a shortcut-the cable car.

Try to avoid wearing this sort of flats because you will have to lift your legs up to prevent your shoes from slipping off while on the cable car.

If you are traveling with a pram, it can be attached to the cable car…

T Express, the largest Roller Coaster in South Korea. It has a steep drop inclined at 77 degrees; this wooden roller coaster is not for the faint-hearted!

Didn’t buy these because I felt they were too pricy, loud and frivolous

I found these Nekomimi at a roadside pushcart stall, which I preferred over the hairbands. These hair clips are more mellow and is also cheaper (approx SGD 12). Meow ๐Ÿ™‚

Zootopia…

This was the only ride we tried, a rather boring haunted house ride with light guns to shoot zombies.

Our visit coincided with the Tulip Festival (late March to late April), where 120 kinds of brilliantly colored tulips bloom in the Four Season Garden.
