The glitziest and much-anticipated Singapore International Jewelry Expo is such a stunning affair. Spanning almost 8000 square meters, the event is an ideal platform for jewelers and jewlery designers to showcase their unique pieces. With over 200 exhibiters from 20 countries across the globe, consumers are spoilt for choice in the sea of glittery elegance.
This year, the highlight is an extraordinarily rare 50.55 carats diamond, The White Fire, presented by DeGem. Valued at US $10 million, the jaw-dropping beauty radiates dynamic sparkle and brilliance, attributed to its fine cut. The diamond is a certified D colour, and possess no florescence.
Another exceptional piece from DeGem is a Melo Pearl ring. Classified as a precious gem, Melo pearls are considered to be one of the rarest and most valuable natural pearl. They come in a variety of shapes but round or near spherical pearls are few and far. Their colour ranges from orange to yellowish orange to almost white, with rich ‘papaya’ hue being the most aesthetically desirable.
Just a few steps away, IVY Masterpiece flaunts a pair of exquisite earrings, worth S$1 million. Set in white gold, the design is made of a cushion cut 10.03 carats Fancy Intense Yellow diamond, a 2.07 carats white cushion cut diamond, a 8.05 carats white cushion cut diamond and a 2.02 carats yellow cushion cut diamond.
We were lucky enough to get front row seats at the Fashion Show, featuring innovative pieces from Italian and Singaporean designers.
With Achillea Teng, a passionate jewelry designer and one-half Caratell, Singapore-based fine jewelry company.
A work of art, this sensational pendent is designed by Michael Koh, Managing director and jewelry designer of Caratell Pte Ltd. Inspired by the architecture of romantic Italy, it can be opened to reveal another delight.
Caratell’s stunning rings took my breath away. My amateurish shots do not do justice to these gorgeous pieces.
Singapore International Jewelry Expo also features wallet-friendly jewellery, starting from S$59. This classy necklace from Cambodia is approximately S$200.
The event ends on 7th July, Sunday at 7pm. Don’t miss the chance to shop for remarkable jewelry! For more information, visit SIJE’s website here.
