Rather late, but better than never! Today I’ll be sharing 3 polishes from the OPI Mariah Carey Holiday Collection 2013. Formulations are superb, each product is a breeze to apply, with the right amount of opacity achieved in 2 coasts. I tend to reach out for these when I’m running short of time because it only takes 20-25 minutes for them dry completely (with OPI drip dry). Chips and tip wear can be easily corrected without any sign that the manicure has been touched up , thanks to the rough surface.
It’s Frosty Outside is a metallic white-silver liquid sand, meant to be worn sans top coat. The striking dazzler is a playful mix of micro glitter an large hexagonal shaped sequins.
Toned down the look with OPI’s Bubble Bath….
My Favourite Ornament is micro glitter polish in a classy champagne hue. It doesn’t look over the top as the shimmer is softer and refined. Just like It’s Frosty Outside, this shade is so easy to match with outfits as it goes with anything. I like how this varnish makes the complexion of my hand look fairer.
It looks lovely with OPI’s Bubble Bath as well….
All Sparkly and Gold is a dense gold micro glitter. Very glam and bling! It’s too deep for my skin tone, hence I’m not too fond of it.
Despite being glitter polishes, they are surprisingly quite easy to remove. Press acetone-soaked remover onto the nail for 40 seconds before rubbing away.
