Back again at GeNails to decorate my talons! I requested for Galaxy nails, a design that caught my eye during my previous visit. Jeanne recently acquired this new technique from top Nail instructor in Japan, Ms Yoko Matsuda.
Jeanne started with the skillful and efficient removal of my old gelish tweed mani. Even after 4 weeks of abuse (I’m quite rough with my hands) all the embellishments are still intact. What’s more, no lifting occurred. It’s evident that Jeanne’s workmanship is superb!
Galaxy design is the highlight this time, a enthralling design more commonly composed with black, pink, purple and blue. As I prefer brighter colours, I opted for white, pink, purple and yellow instead.
The process is tedious as each shade had to be applied in a special manner, in order to bring about the galaxy effect.
The gelish manicure was further elevated with nail stickers and gold embellishments. Don’t you just love the mesmerising effect of the Galaxy technique?
GeNails, a home based nail salon, is just a 5 minute walk from Lavender MRT. As far as I know, it’s the most conveniently and centrally located home based nail salon in Singapore.
