This Mother’s Day, Executive Head Chef Nicky Ng of Mitzo Restaurant & Bar has put together a specially curated 8-course dinner menu featuring Mitzo’s signature items in celebration of the first lady in our hearts. Take this opportunity to gift your mum with a progressive Cantonese fine-dining meal paired with artisanal cocktails set amidst vibrant décor and plush interiors. For mothers who have a penchant for Dim Sum, choose from over 40 varieties of delectable Mitzo Dim Sum items at the Yum Cha Brunch over the weekend.

A modern twist on traditional Cantonese fare, the Mother’s Day special set menu presents a scrumptious selection of seafood and meat, for a journey of great flavours and textures. Some of the key highlights in the special menu are, the luxurious Wok-fried lobster in 20-year “hua diao” wine and Herbal pork rib with black fungus & enoki mushroom that is set to tantalize every mom’s taste buds. Doused in the exquisitely aged “hua diao” wine, the succulent meat of the lobster is richly steeped in the aromatic broth of the wine; while the pork ribs paired with earthy black fungus and enoki mushroom are infused with herbs that sensationalises the savoury meat.

Other notable dish in the special menu includes all-time crowd pleaser, the Mitzo special barbecued pork. This melt-in-your-mouth dish will leave you with a dulcet aftertaste from the meticulously caramelized skin.

Mitzo celebrates this special day with a uniquely crafted cocktail as a toast to all Moms for their endless love. Affectionately named the First Lady, the cocktail comprises of vodka, St.Germain Liquer, Prosecco, fresh cucumber, mint leaf and mixed berries for a refreshing quench. Every set menu comes with a glass of the First Lady, on the house.

For Moms who prefer to indulge in delectable dainty delights, the Yum Cha Brunch serves unlimited servings of over 40 types of delectable dim sum, Cantonese favourites and a one time serving of a luxe seafood or bird nest dish such as Braised bird’s nest soup in superior Yun Nan ham broth, Chilled royal coconut jelly with bird nest, Oven-baked lobster with champagne sauce, Braised Whole Abalone with White Flower Mushroom in Superior Oyster Sauce. Other highlights on the menu include Salted egg custard bun, Braised truffles udon, Pan-fried ribeye and more.
