After all the feasting over the weekend, it’s time to eat clean! Contrary to popular belief, eating healthy does not mean eating boring, especially when you’re at One Raffles Place! The skyscraper houses 8 concepts for busy bees to eat great and feel good at the same time.
Kraftwhich is a café under Swissbake, which focuses on gourmet sandwiches. Options on multigrain bread include Smoked Salmon, Turkey & Ham, Tuna & Egg and Vegetarian, while Beef Pastrami, Smoked Duck, Portobello and Smoked Chicken are served between Maize bread. Sandwiches are priced at $8.90 and a top up of $4 gets you a set meal. Do note that the picture below feature tasting portions, usual servings are much larger.
If you prefer something lighter, there’s a variety of salads to choose from. We tried the Smoked Chicken Salad ($9.90) and Beef Pastrami Salad ($9.90). I personally prefer the latter as flavors were more robust.
At Kraftwich, diners also welcome to customize their own sandwiches and salads.
Gratify your sweet tooth with the array of cakes and desserts available at Kraftwich. Although these are not in line with One Raffles Place’s Green Plate Campaign, they not only conclude meals well, plus also make great afternoon tea treats. The comforting Bread Pudding is a suitable perk-me-up for even the most dreadful day at work.
Wheat serves dishes with a calorie count of less than 500, and has been a Healthy Dining Partner with the Health Promotion Board since December.
The popular noodle bar has recently introduced 3 new items to the menu. Striploin ($17) features 100g of tender New Zealand beef with soba on a bed of mesclun salad, while Bull’s Eye ($10.90) comprise of beef stew with brown rice, completed with a perfectly poached egg. Load up on protein with Quinoa ($14) a nutritional dish of quinoa, grilled chicken leg, cranberries, broccoli, corn and pumpkin.
Many thanks to One Raffles Place for the invite, as well as Kraftwich and Wheat for the warm hospitality.
