Hurray its December! The merriest month of the year has finally arrived! Christmas feasting at Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel starts today, offering food-lovers glorious festive buffets that will leave you feeling stuffed like a turkey.
Festive Buffet @ Marriot Cafe
During the media preview, we sampled some of the highlights that will be offered in the buffet at Marriott Cafe, for both lunch and dinner.
After warming your tummy with Creamy Chestnut Soup, make a beeline for the Potted Duck Liver with Foie Gras Pate. Spread some pate on a piece of crunchy crostini, along with a dab of Mulled Wine Jelly and savour the myriad of flavours that blend together beautifully.
Apart from Chilled Seafood, diners can also indulge in mouth-watering crustaceans such as Lobster Spicy Catalana Style, Gratinated Prawns, Oyster Floretine and Gratinated Scallops.
Christmas delicacies include:
Slow-roasted Beef Striplion with Port Wine Sauce/ Horseradish Cream and Truffle Buttered Roast Turkey with Finanziera Terrine & Madeira Sauce.
Honey Glazed Turkey Ham
Turducken (boneless chicken and duck stuffed in turkey) with Madeira Sauce
Baked Salted Crusted Whole Red Snapper with Salsa Verde
I highly recommend the Truffle Butter Roast Turkey and Honey Glazed Turkey Ham.

For peeps hosting Christmas celebrations at home, add a touch of class to your festive dining table with Marriott Tang Plaza’s offerings, available for takeaway at the Forecourt Stall (by the hotel entrance) from 23rd Nov to 25 Dec.
Seduce your guests with the popular Truffle Butter Roast Turkey ($238), where a 4.5kg-5kg bird is generously smothered with truffle butter, then roasted. Accompanied with Finanziera Terrine and Madeira sauce for a touch of smoky sweetness.
For dessert, I highly recommend the Pandan Vanilla Snow White Cake ($68 for 1kg). The ethereal creation is light on the palate, making it a suitable conclusion to hearty meals.
