Arteastiq Christmas Menu

It’s finally the time of the year to put up the Christmas tree, hang the lights and get into the  mood of FEASTING~

From now till 25th December, Arteastiq offers 3-course festive dinners at only $58++ per person. The well-thought out menu, comprises of yuletide delights to please discerning palates.

Start your meal with Fireplace Snooze, a buttery and savory mille feuille flavored with caramelized onions, sautéed apples and cream cheese. I was curious at how this will turn out as the French pastry is traditionally served sweet, as a dessert. It emerged a success- the chef got the textures spot on (the paper-thin, crisp pastry layers fell apart easily when provoked by a fork) and the accompaniments’ flavours blended together beautifully.

If you like your greens and prefer to start on a refreshing note, there’s Dreaming Of The First Bloom, a classic Provencal salad comprising of mesclun, shredded chicken and tangy wild berries, which did a good job of whetting the appetite. Personally, this did not leave a huge impression, but it’s nevertheless a satisfactory salad that I’d welcome on a hot day.

What’s Christmas without turkey? Arteastiq’s Singing Chimney is impossible not to love! The bird is moist and tender, elevated with bacon slices and herbaceous mushroom capers pate wrapped within. The turkey marries well with the accompanying minty cranberry sauce, and is served with roasted baby potatoes as well as sautéed bell peppers. A dish which exemplifies timeless comfort indeed!

I’m not one to crave for red meats, but boy was the Wool & Cradles good! The beef, seasoned with garlic and herbs, was slow-roasted with cherry tomatoes till medium doneness. These perfectly roasted and well-flavoured chunks of meat are definitely a carnivore’s dream! Presented with Yorkshire pudding and 2 sauces-beef bullion and cherry vinaigrette.

For those who prefer something lighter, there’s Frosted Window Daze, a wholesome, healthy yet tasty cod dish. The pan-seared, herb-crusted fish lies on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes that deserves 2 thumbs up. I also like how the herbs brought out the natural flavours of the pristine, snowy cod. This is my favorite main course and I highly recommend it. Do note that are some bones in the fillet, so do be cautious while savoring it.

Complete your meal on a sweet note with Snowfield Laughers, an exquisitely plated dessert depicting the joy of frolicking in the snow. Components include Christmas fruit cake, encased within a chocolate dome, contrasted with a scoop of tangy Yuzu ice cream. Adorable meringue snowman and mushrooms, plus a pitter-patter of cookie crumbs and berries, speckle the black slate.

Wash down the delectable food with one of Arteastiq’s gourmet teas. In this frame is Fizzy Earl Grey Honey Tea ($11), a irresistible concoction of earl grey infusion, organic honey and sparking water, served with popping candy and home-made lavender infused syrup with lavender spring.

Arteastiq’s Christmas Menu has generous portions, and is also a steal considering its elegant ambiance and central locations (Mandarin Gallery and Plaza Singapura). Your date, friends and corporate clients will definitely be impressed with the multi-sensory experience!
