A recognized name in many parts of the world, CoCoICHIBANYA has recently opened its 6th outlet in Singapore at Raffles City. To date, the largest curry restaurant chain in the world has more than 1,400 outlets worldwide.
Located at basement 1, the 1700 square-feet space has a capacity for 93 guests, and is thoughtfully design to provide a warm and welcoming ambiance for diners to enjoy their signature Japanese curry.
CoCoICHIBANYA is the only curry house in Singapore offering an extensive menu of curries, toppings, and omelette rice to choose from. What’s even better? Diners can customise their own meals by specifying the portion of rice, curry spice levels and desired toppings.
Start on a refreshing note with the Goma Corn Salad ($5), before feasting on CoCoICHIBANYA ‘s tantalizing range of toppings, alongside your choice of curry (5 different spice levels) customised to your preference.
I have fond memories of the Hamburg, Grilled Pork & Kimchi and Grilled Spinach, Bacon & Corn from a previous tasting at the Plaza Singapura branch, so had to have them again!
CoCoICHIBANYA is also offering promotional set meals to introduce a dish, Unagi Curry Rice, exclusively available at the Raffles City Outlet, till end of CNY 2017. Glistening slab of grilled eel, on bed of luscious scrambled egg, doused with fragrant curry, makes for an instant mood lifter.
Not forgetting hubby’s favourite, the Pork Cutlet Omelette Curry ($16.90). Now, who can resist moist porcine meat with crisps skin?
We ended on a sweet note with Matcha Ice Cream with Azuki Beans ($3.80). A simple, but classic way to conclude a Japanese meal.
Many thanks to AT Marketing Consultancy and CoCoICHIBANYA for the invite
