Seafood lovers are in for a treat! From now till 15th March 2017, diners can indulge in a plethora of more than 50 seafood items at Marriott Café.
Warm the digestive system with the velvety Clam Chowder, before moving on to feast on the extensive varieties of seafood on ice. Couldn’t get enough of the crabs, where juicy, succulent and sweet fresh arrested my taste buds.
Help yourself to multiple servings of oysters from France, Canada and Ireland, before heading for contemporary seafood dishes such as Assorted Seafood Skewers and Sauteed Scallops with Caramelized Onions and Chorizo. I appreciate how the sweetness of the caramalised onions and the saltiness of the Spanish pork sausage jazzed up the plump scallops.
My dining companion and I dived into the Gratinated French Cassolette of Seafood & Fish eagerly. This exactly how we like my baked seafood, with plenty of cheese and cream but still maintaining the sweetness of the crustaceans.
The Seafood Bouillabaisse won many nods of approval. The broth was truly a smack down on flavors.
Other highlights include Lobster Spicy Catalana Style, Singapore Chilli Crab, Lala Clams, Salted Egg Prawns and more.
If you’re feeling carnivorous, head to the carving station for some crispy Roast Pork Saddle and tender Roast Prime of Beef.
Desserts definitely did not take backseat at Marriott Café. My tops picks are the Chocolate Flourless Cake, Crunchy Hazelnut Chocolate Cake, Sour Cherry Cup Cake and Honey Lemon Cheesecake.
At $88++ per adult and $44++ per child, Marriott Café’s Seafood Extravaganza is pretty good value. Be sure to make reservations early to secure a spot!
