Spice up your nights as Melt Café brings back well-loved and renowned Indian cuisine by Indian Specialty Chef Santosh Kumar from 15 to 28 May 2017.
Kick off the feast with delectable starters made hot and fresh out of the tandoori oven. Enjoy an authentic South Indian recipe of salmon tikka and tantalising achari jhinga, succulent tiger prawns marinated with homemade pickled spices. Do not miss popular savoury snacks such as the bhuna shakarkand ki chaat, sweet potatoes dressed with chaat masala, chilli and lime juice or yellow lentil fritters. Then, cool your palate with chatti wali lassi, where homemade yoghurt and fresh mango are churned till smooth.
Over at the live station, indulge in the dora kabab, a mouth-watering chicken kabab with roomali roti, best accompanied with mint chutney and raita. Hearty main courses in the line-up include saag wala gosht, a tender lamb shoulder served with fresh spinach; pakode wali kadhi, onion dumplings in luscious buttermilk curry; rice pot-baked spring chicken with saffron and Indian spices, cumin basmati rice and murg makhanwala, a tandoor-roasted chicken simmered in a rich glistening tomato sauce. Vegetarian kebabs such as spinach lentil croquette and crispy cottage cheese are also available.
Conclude the incredible dining experience by Chef Santosh on a sweet note as gulab jamun (deep-fried milk dumpling), habshi halwa (black carrot pudding) and phirni (rice cake with cardamom and saffron) are classic desserts perfect for savouring.
