From now till 2nd July, indulge in Melt Café ‘ A Crab Affair” buffet which not only includes an extensive variety of seafood on ice, but also plethora of crab dishes served in various cooking styles.
Start the resplendent feast at the Seafood Counter, piled high with remarkably fresh, succulent crustaceans such as Alaskan King Crab, Tasmanian Spanner Crab, Asian Mud Crab. Other delightful options include Lobsters, Prawns and Mussels.
Take a breather from cracking those coral-hued shells with a scoop of refreshing Yuzu marinated Crab Gateaux, topped with creamy avocado and pops of tobiko.
Diners who love spicy food will definitely enjoy the Singapore Black Pepper Crab, while those who prefer their crabs with gravy should make a beeline for the Chilli Crabs. Don’t forget to grab a couple of fried buns, which go very well with the gooey, chilli sauce.
Palates that prefer more exotic options will revel in Thai Stir-fried Tom Yum Flower Crabs and Southern Indian delicacy Kerala Mud Crab, both bursting with flavors rendered by the abundant spices.
Other unique dishes include Japanese Curry with Tasmanian Spanner Crab and Hainanese Crab Noodles, both whipped up a la minute at the live station.
Carb Lover? Check out the homemade pasta live station, where you can select from an assortment of pastas tossed in Crab Ragout, as well as the Crab & Potato Rosti with your choice of toppings such as capers, ikura and dill beurre blanc.
In addition to the finger-licking good crabs, the buffet also offers Western dishes, Sashimi and sushi.
Meander towards the Gourmet Cheese Counter for a wedge of Red cheddar and soft Goat’s Cheese, before wrapping up a slice of decadent Melt Chocolate Cake and Sable. If you have more space in your dessert tummy, I highly recommend the Freshly Baked Waffles and Chocolate Fondue
