Following her success as a finalist on MasterChef Australia in 2012 to a resident judge on MasterChef Asia, celebrity chef Audra Morrice will be regaling gourmands with a sensory journey of tastes and textures through an exclusive 5-Course Wine Dinner from 26 to 29 October 2017 at Pool Grill. The best of Australian produce, eclectically Asian cooking styles and the creative harmonies of flavours and textures are hallmarks of Audra’s culinary repertoire, and diners will experience these ideals expressed with her indulgent menus. Each exquisite creation will also be perfectly paired with esteemed Australian wines from the famed Frankland Estate Vineyard.

A celebrated chef, author, television personality and food consultant, Audra has won the hearts and captivated the taste buds of many with her love of cooking and passion for the craft. After being propelled to centre-stage, she has since started her own catering business, launched a range of natural, gluten-free jams, released a cookbook titled “My Kitchen, Your Table” and a cooking series “Tasty Conversations”. She is also one of the three judges on MasterChef Asia and is currently an ambassador for the joint Qantas-Destination New South Wales’ campaign, Sydneyporeans.

Unbeknownst to most, Audra spent her growing up years in Singapore and constantly draws inspiration for her dishes from her Chinese-Indian heritage which she holds very close to her heart. Furthermore, using fresh, seasonal produce in every dish is of the utmost importance to Audra and she does so with ease, creating original, beautifully crafted food where texture, harmony of flavours from different cultures, come together to create the perfect dish.

The five-part meal will start with canapés and drinks to get your taste buds fired, and count on Audra to produce a fresh and satisfying dinner designed for a truly special evening. “I have created a special menu based on some of my favourite flavours and inspirations from my travels, utilizing the best of Australian produce,” said Audra. “It is wonderful to be able to share with the diners in Singapore all the best produce that we have in Australia and to that I add a ladle of Singaporean tradition, a teaspoon of familiar local flavours, the all-important interactive crispy indulgence matched with family comfort, before finishing the dinner with sweet essentials,” she added.

Each creation is presented in fun and imaginative ways, building on your excitement to see what will be coming up next and is just as exciting to taste.
