Rather late, but better than never! Today I’ll be sharing 3 polishes from the OPI Mariah Carey Holiday Collection 2013. Formulations are superb, each product is a breeze to apply, with the right amount of opacity achieved in 2 coasts. I tend to reach out for these when I’m running short of time because it only takes 20-25 minutes for them dry completely (with OPI drip dry). Chips and tip wear can be easily corrected without any sign that the manicure has been touched up , thanks to the rough surface.
OPI launched Bond Girls last year, a collection of 6 liquid sand lacquers named after some of the iconic Bond Girls in the movies.
Liquid sand has been around for a while. Basically they are glittery lacquers that do not require top coat. They dry with a textured finish, which feels like sandpaper. I absolutely love them, because I save time waiting for them to dry (only half the time required compared to conventional polishes). Chips and tip wear can be easily corrected without any sign that the manicure has been touched up , thanks to the rough surface. Unlike glitter polishes, liquid sands can be removed effortlessly- just press cotton soaked with nail polish remover for 30 seconds and rub off.
I’ve always wanted a yellow in my collection and was searching high and low for a fun shade that flatters my skin tone, without being too bright or dull
I am terrible, terrible blogger…should have reviewed this sooner but I totally forgot about it, opps! I purchased OPI Mariah Carey Liquid Sand minis from Nail Vibe last December, when Liquid Sand nail lacquers were first launched. Liquid Sand formula is a new nail technology whereby jelly-based glitter dries to a matte finish with reflective glints of light. So basically what you get is beautifully textured nails with a fine sort of roughness.
OPI’s Be a Dahlia Won’t You, belongs to the Nice Stems collection from 2011. This is my favorite polish, because the colour is absolutely gorgeous and flatters my skin tone. It makes my hands look a few shades fairer!
Added a nude shade to my polish collection 🙂 OPI bubble bath has pink undertones and is foolproof for pretty, always appropriate nails.
Bought The More the Marry-ier minis during my honeymoon in Europe last September. Gotta say that I am not impressed with these wedding nudes. Continue reading
