Street 50 Celebrates Lunar New Year with Chinese Zodiac Buffets

Who’s counting down to the Lunar New Year festivities like me? It’s less than a month to feasting on our favorite Chinese delicacies, so it time to start planning! To celebrate the year of the Rooster, Bay Hotel’s STREET 50 Restaurant & Bar not only offers a unique take on yusheng, but also 12 new exclusive dishes inspired by the 12 Chinese zodiac animals. So creative!

Toss your way to prosperity with the Lobster Yusheng with Bird Nest (龙虾燕窝鱼生) a luxurious yet refreshing rendition from that nourishes the lungs and skin with chilled cubes of bird nest jelly. Available in Regular (for up to 4 pax $38++) and Large (8-10 pax $68++) sizes.

Following the Lo Hei, head towards the buffet line, which includes 12 new CNY dishes, amongst many others in the sumptuous spread.

Christmas and New Year @ Street 50

Get set to deck the hall with bouts of jolly and indulge in merry holiday feasting at Bay Hotel’s Street 50 Restaurant & Bar. The dishes offered in the Christmas and New Year buffet are not something my food memory is familiar with, as the chef reinvents Christmas classics with Asian twists. My palate is intrigued and delighted with Street 50’s well-conceived reinterpretation of festive comfort food.

Street 50 Unveils New Menu

Located on the first floor of Bay Hotel, the modest all-day dining restaurant and bar, STREET 50, has recently launched a new menu, the Great Singapore Savour, which comprises of 20 interpretations of local street food.

Most of us would have tried Coffee Pork Ribs at Zi Char stalls before, but have you come across Coffee Wings ($7.90)? STREET 50 serves the prized mid-wing, deep-fried with Chef Kelvin’s homemade Hong Kong Style coffee jam (pictured above). I love this rendition!
