We’ve more or less settled into our new home so I’ve finally got the time to start on chronicling our New Zealand holidays. The trip stretched over 11 days and we visited both the North and South Islands.

Hi my dear readers! Just a quick update -we have just completed Day 1 of our 25-day vacation in Europe. Today, we explored several sights in Munich, such as Marienplatz, Hofgarten, Englischer Garten, St Peter’s Church, Viltualienmarkt and BWM Welt.

Bali’s equivalent of Singapore’s Antoinette, Angelita Tea Salon and Patisserie, in soft Tiffany blue and white wall panels, is every bit French. Once we stepped in, we were wowed by its abundance of charm, plus dazzling display of glistening pastries and bread.
My final blog post on Alila Villas Uluwatu is on the one bedroom pool villa. Although we made a request for villas on the 4 level, which was the highest, we were assigned to villas on the second level. The view wasn’t good; all we could see was the roofs of the villas on the first level, not even a glimpse of the Indian Ocean. Our butler informed us that villas on level 4 would be available in a couple of hours, so we waited and it was soooo worth it.
Transportation arrived in the form of buggies, which hauled our luggage (and us) to our villas. My in laws stayed in 402 while hubby and I in 406. 401 is the wedding villa. You get a better view of the sunrise the closer you are to the wedding villa.
