Afternoon Tea @ Mandarin Oriental’s Axis Bar & Lounge

In celebration of Singapore’s recent achievement at this year’s Asian Pastry Cup competition, Mandarin Oriental invited us to experience Speciality Pastry Chef Desmond Lee’s works. Chef Lee was part of the winning team, beating 10 other countries to clinch the coveted Gold Prize.

Before the afternoon tea began, Chef Lee showcased his winning masterpiece-a stunning plated dessert constructed from meringue.
